Muzzy 75 Grain 3-blade Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: Muzzy Muzzy Model: 75 Grain 3-blade Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: Broadheads Purchased at a hunting show. 6 for $34.99. Purchased because of previous use of Muzzy broadheads.
Things I like about the Muzzy 75 Grain 3-blade Broadheads: Simplicity of assembly and strength of design. The trocar tip provides incredible penetration. Flight is true to field points.
What I don't like about the Muzzy 75 Grain 3-blade: Small cutting diameter concerns me slightly. Threading at the top of the ferule is somewhat sloppy - you must take care not to cross-thread the trocar tip when assembling.
Broadheads 75 Grain 3-blade quality: The interlocking blades make the broadhead exceptionally strong.
75 Grain 3-blade summary: Excellent broadhead. I was concerned about the light weight of the head and possible lack of penetration but tests through 3/4" plywood proved penetration actually better than a 100 grain head. Complete pass-through on 180# Ohio doe in November '07 provided more confidence in the quality and penetration ability of the Muzzy 75.
