Things I like about the Okuma Spinning Reel EF 40 Fishing Reels: The materials used in construction and the 10 ball bearings vs. other major brands in similar price ranges.
What I don't like about the Okuma Spinning Reel EF 40: I have no complaints.
Fishing Reels EF 40 quality: The reel is very fluid due to the ball bearings used (10). The beefier redesigned bail holds up very well. It is very ligthweight and you can fish with it all day in comfort.
EF 40 summary: I am an avid wade fisherman in the Texas Gulf Coast. It handles the harsh saltwater environment very well. The reel functions and operates very smoothly and it is very easy to maintain. Unlike other major brands, I have never experienced a bail failure on the actual retrieve.
I have also used this reel in a light tackle situation for King's offshore. I had no problems reeling in larger game.
