NAP SPITFIRE 100 ARROWHEADS Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: NAP NAP Model: SPITFIRE 100 ARROWHEADS Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: Broadheads I got them from John Hollister Archery in my home town. I bought them because he swore by their reliability. I paid $36.00 for a set of three.
Things I like about the NAP SPITFIRE 100 ARROWHEADS Broadheads: They look pretty intimidating when sitting at the end of an arrow.
What I don't like about the NAP SPITFIRE 100 ARROWHEADS: These arrowheads dont open when striking a soft (Block target) or a hard (wood pallet)target. Once the retention clip falls out the blade has a sloppy fit, which I would say would throw off accuracy.
Broadheads SPITFIRE 100 ARROWHEADS quality: The contruction seems to be of decent quality, except for the retention clips' tendency to fall out.
SPITFIRE 100 ARROWHEADS summary: While shooting them into a Block target, they seemed to not open up. After many shots I came to realize they were infact not opening, the cut was only about 3/4". So I did what any rookie would do and fired an arrow into the wood pallet the target was sitting on. Not only did the Spitfire not open, it is still stuck in the pallet(it went in pretty deep because it didn't open). Out of frustration, I left the thing stuck in the pallet and have no intention of trying to get it out. Also, while shooting the Spitfire heads into the Block, the retention clips on every arrowhead I shot kept falling out. I don't think I'll be buying any more of these.
