Wildview Xtreme4 Trail Cameras (t-z)
Trail Cameras (t-z) Manufacturer: Wildview Wildview Model: Xtreme4 Review Category: Trail Cameras (t-z)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (t-z) I'd been considering buying a trail camera for about a decade now. My Dad recently got a Wildview Xtreme 4 scouting camera and it seemed to be a pretty good one. I picked one up at Academy last Saturday for $108 and brought it home and set it up in the backyard.
Things I like about the Wildview Xtreme4 Trail Cameras (t-z): The unit is quite user friendly and easy to set-up and use. It has options for hi&lo res, up to 3 pix per triggering, time elapsed between triggerings, time/date stamp, and flash. Also sets up to record 10-second video clips. I was amazed at the number and quality of images after just one-night's use. I had 53 exposures of deer, all good to very good, quality images. It worked like a champ!
What I don't like about the Wildview Xtreme4: I had a couple of images with nothing in them. I suspect that the trigger wasn't fast enough to catch deer running. When I opened the back door to let my dog out before first light, I saw the camera flash back in the woods a few seconds later, and that was one of the blank (no deer) images.
Trail Cameras (t-z) Xtreme4 quality: The construction and quality of the unit seem to be quite good. Very sturdy and fairly compact.
Xtreme4 summary: I would give this trail camera a 5-star rating based on the bang-for-the-buck factor. Easy to use and good quality images. 3.2mp digital camera with multiple settings and options, and my favorite part - user friendly, all for a low price. I would recommend this camera to any hunter, especially if you're on a budget.
