Purchase: Hunting Boots Just picked up these hunting boots a couple of months back. My other hunting boots didn't survive last winter real well and kind of became the chore running boots around the house. I think I paid around $125 for the boots and that was without shopping around for the best price.
Things I like about the Rocky Outback Hunter Hunting Boots: What I like best about these boots is they aren't overly large in size. Some of my old hunting boots were like wearing mickey mouse shoes all day. These boots are compact yet still well insulated.
What I don't like about the Rocky Outback Hunter: Although they've been afield a few times for scouting trips I have yet to find anything I don't like about the Rocky Outback Hunters. I'm fairly picky about my boots, however so far these boots are passing the test with flying colors.
Hunting Boots Outback Hunter quality: The construction is top notch. The first thing I noticed about them is the stitching is done to perfection. All of the stitches are the same size and none of them bulge etc.
Outback Hunter summary: I assume these Rocky boots are going to treat me as well as the ones in the past. Although it's early yet I'm still very please with the quality, fit and feel of them. So far so good. Hunting boots are one of the most important parts of your hunting gear. If your feet aren't warm then chances are the rest of you isn't warm either. More importantly if you're thinking about staying warm or going back to hunting camp then chances are your mind isn't 100% on what you are there for and that's hunting. Just my two cents.
