Purchase: I purchased the unit @ Bass Pro for $129.00
Things I like about the Moultrie 3.1 3.1 mega pixel: I liked the features for the dollar paid. The setup is fast and like the quality of the pictures. I know better cameras are to be had, but at this price I can afford to purchase several and if one is stolen I am not out $500.
What I don't like about the Moultrie 3.1 3.1 mega pixel: The slow trigger speed causes a few misses and I have had problems with night pictures. It seems to have missed taking night pictures at times.
3.1 mega pixel quality: The construction is good and I have not had any probles with water entering.
3.1 mega pixel summary: The low cost and features allow for the purchase of several units to achieve a wider coverage area quickly. In areas subject to treespass, the loss of a camera is not as hard on the average hunter.
I perfer the option to buy lower cost multiple units to scout my hunting area quickly. I can always purchase a better unit for my main hunting area. The SD card allows for quick change out and viewing in the field. I also lie the battery option for a solar panel to extend field use.
Ok, I may miss the big one, but my hunting time is limited to several weeks and time costs.
