Purchase: Broadheads I purchased these heads by ordering them from the Slick Trick website, for $22.
Things I like about the slick trick broadhead 1" Standard 100 gr. Broadheads: These heads have out performed every other broadhead I have tested. They fly exactly like my field points, even out to 50 yards. They cause amazing tissue damage with the four blades. And they are as durable as a one piece head. The Slick Trick is the most deadly, accurate, versatile and durable head on the market.
What I don't like about the slick trick broadhead 1" Standard 100 gr.: A couple years ago, I would have said the blade sharpness out of the box, but now the Slick Tricks have upgraded to Solingen steel blades and are extremely sharp. They have also upgraded the material of the ferrule, which are now stronger than titanium. There is nothing I do not like about these heads.
Broadheads 1" Standard 100 gr. quality: These heads are very well designed. The Alcatraz locking system of the blades insures they will not come loose--no matter what. The blades are .035" thick, making them very durable and easily resharpened. The chisel-type tip is of a smaller diameter than every other one I have seen, allowing excellent penetration. Every head I have purchased is perfectly balanced as well. The four blades also allow a full two inches of cutting surface.
1" Standard 100 gr. summary: The 1"Standard 100gr head is the perfect balance of everything you want in a broadhead. I have never seen or heard about a head that will fly this straight, penetrate this deep, cause this much damage, and be this durable. All that, and it costs much less than most other heads in its class.
