Purchase: Hunting Boots I purchased these boots at the local Redwing store in Colorado. I special ordered uninsulated since I tend to be so warm blooded, but you can get them with quite a bit of insulation. They came in at about 150, but if they last like my Dads have 10 years or more, it will be a bargain.
Things I like about the Irish Setter Elk Trackers Elk Tracker 12" uninsulated Hunting Boots: I have been very pleased with the comfort, water resistance and the excellent traction. It felt like I had a brand new set of legs compared to the previous year. The tread is very agressive and while the rest of the group was slipping all over the place, I never slipped once. Redwings offer free lifetime cleaning, waterproofing, lace replacement and eyelet repair AT ANY OF THEIR STORES.!!!!
What I don't like about the Irish Setter Elk Trackers Elk Tracker 12" uninsulated: Be careful with that insulation! Even with uninsulated, my feet stay plenty warm sitting in a goose blind in the 30 - 40 degree range.
Hunting Boots Elk Tracker 12" uninsulated quality: Very nice 12" leather upper with air bob rubber soles, deep mudslinger tread.
Elk Tracker 12" uninsulated summary: Great boot at a reasonable price.
