Purchase: Rifle Scopes I ordered my scope through wiley outdoor products in Alabama,I chose this scope due to its reputation as well as overall appearance. I paid about 380.00 a little over 10 years ago!
Things I like about the Leupold vari x-III Rifle Scopes: Its appearance is as good as its ability to handle any hunting situation you can throw at it!I also like the good eye releif. Its extreamly bright in low light,and has never had a fogging problem,and considering I hunt and live in the northwest were it rains about 80% of the hunting season thats pretty good!
What I don't like about the Leupold vari x-III : There really is not much I can say here. It would be nice if the new aluminated retangle model was not so much more in clams!
Rifle Scopes vari x-III quality: Like I wrote earlier,its apperance is better than most. The finish on the scope is tough,it looks good even after years of use.I have several of these scopes now in both the gloss,matte and silver finish.and they all look like I just put them on the gun! you can tell the scope is built to take it,just by handling it!
vari x-III summary: I have taken everything from black bear to elk here in Oregon and in every situation it has performed flawless! If I did not bring any meat home after a hunt it sure was not the scope that coused it! I will always consider a leupold for any of my firearms before any other scope. Rather it be on a ruger 1022 or my 300 ultra mag!
