Used it to fish Snake river upstream of Grande Ronde river last fall. Had near record rainfall during trip. Except for having to buy batteries almost daily it performed flawlessly.
Things I like about the Hummingbird Smartcast: Simple to set up and durability
What I don't like about the Hummingbird Smartcast: Battery life low.
Smartcast quality: Well built and waterproof.
Smartcast summary: Hard to fit onto boat so could use a mounting bracket addition.
