Purchase: Was needing a new pair of boots to replace some older probably stinky boots. I wanted a pair of rubbers so as to not leave so much scent in the woods. I also wanted ones that would not be quite so hot to wear since I know the rubbers are famous for that. I bought these at Basspro for $130.
Things I like about the Rocky Breathable Rubber : I liked the fact these were promoted as breathable with a waterproof membrane in the ankle and calf. I liked the camo job, easy to put on with the strap and they were contoured to fit a foot. They were also fairly lightweight for rubbers.
What I don't like about the Rocky Breathable Rubber : These were not quite as cool as I thought they would be. My feet still sweated pretty bad, so I guess the moral of the story is you can't change a leopard's spots!
Breathable Rubber quality: Construction was very good, quality boots all in all!
Breathable Rubber summary: If I had it to do over again, I'd save the $40 or $50 and buy the cheaper ones that didn't have the breathable (expensive) membrane!
