Purchase: Hunting Outerwear This was a gift and wasn't the most expensive vest on today's market.
Things I like about the Northwest Adventurers Game Vest Hunting Outerwear: Holds gobs of shells, very abrasion resistant. Doing the "Reach Around" isn't as bad as some vests I've owned.
What I don't like about the Northwest Adventurers Game Vest: The game pocket on the back will slowly drive a man bonkers. With every step it slaps against your back and always seems to take it a second or two to catch up. When doing some scouting/small gaming it really get irritationg. The second issue is this thing is thirstier than a camel. It loves to grab every drop of water it can. By the end of day it's weighing an extra ten pounds. Waterproofing doesn't seem to help it.
Hunting Outerwear Game Vest quality: Like I said it's not the most expensive game vest out there. It's done me well though. No rips, no tears through some pretty thick fields over the last few years. Two thumbs up there.
Game Vest summary: It was a gift and won't be the one I will get next time. That said it wasn't a bad game vest, just could have had a couple of improvements to take it to the next level.
