Purchase: Fishing Rods i was looking for a 4 pc travel rod that was top quality without breaking the bank. The raquette series of damon rodworks will fill the need and then some all his rods should be considered custom built as he very painstakingly assembles and tunes all rods as an individual unit. there is no mass production here. I would compare his rods against models costing 2-3 times as much. pictures dont do this guys stuff justice. all the cork top quality,reel seats with hand turned wood burl spacers and the fit is precision. all windings are great , hand made rod bags and a rod tube that is top shelf . tim damon has a great website and he has built rods for over 20 years. he is a guide and former orvis school casting instructor so he knows what a good rod is and should feel and cast like.he has even built rods for ex and current presidents. I believe the price was 280. and he backs what he sells with a warranty. all in all i can't wait for the snow to finish melting so i can fish it it has only been lawn cast and it throws my 555 wf like it shot from a cannon.its also light as a feather. the balance it top shelf. see for your self at www.damonrods.com
