Purchase: Hunting Gear Misc I have been using LIGHTFIELD Ammo for 2 years now for both my 12 Gauge and my sons 20Ga.
The reason for using Lightfield is simple: The deer wont wait around when your ammo does not work. You want to make the first shot count and lightfield has the Accuracy and knockdown power to do the job!
Cost of the Ammo varies from place to place. These can be purchaced at fine gun shops in the USA
Things I like about the LIGHTFIELD Shotgun Slugs Commander 3" 12 Gage Hunting Gear Misc: You may not find these in your local hardware store so be sure to by more than you think you will need. Once your hunting buddys try them they disapear fast. For an average one day deer hunt I like to have at least 10 rounds with me.
What I don't like about the LIGHTFIELD Shotgun Slugs Commander 3" 12 Gage: There is nothing not to like about LIGHTFIELDS; except mayby more gun shops should carry them. I wish they made a .410 3" it would be great for dense residential areas
Hunting Gear Misc Commander 3" 12 Gage quality: Very well made american ammo. They only have one other competitor that even comes close and they are from Europe. This is flat shooting hard hitting no nonsence ammo that shoots more like rifle ammo than shotgun. We din some comparisons with two other US brands and 2 imports . The Lightfield was as accurate as the top import. It beat the other domestic brands hands down.
As far as knockdown power I used a heavy steel plate at 100 yards. and the lightfield was the only one to consistantly punch it over.. This stuff can stop a Hippo in its tracks
Commander 3" 12 Gage summary: I wont hunt with anything else in my shotgun. Once you try it your spoiled for life.
