Purchase: $349 at a local shop.
Things I like about the Leaf River BU-1: Neat colors & case.
Video clip ability is good.
What I don't like about the Leaf River BU-1: Good hardware to attach the camera unit to the bracket, but only a strap to attach all to the tree, duhh !
Not happy with the 6 seconds it takes to take a picture when the sensor trips. And not happy about the 1 minute reset for the next picture.
Some daytime pictures were so white, i couldn't make out anything, possibly a setting thing, but other pictures were good.
BU-1 quality: Good water proof case.
A lot more adjustments on the picture settings than I will ever use. Kind of makes me think if all is set up Ok when I leave the camera for the week or 2.
BU-1 summary: Not bad for a basic unit, but not for trail use. bait or feeder would be my recommendation.
