Purchase: Friend of mine that is an Army Ranger was telling me about Wiggys sleeping bags and that several Rangers bought Wiggys bags with their own money because Wiggy bags were a lot warmer than Army issue bags. I went on Wiggys.com and bought a vest for $90 . Wore it a week then ordered a sleeping bag too ! Sold my North Face down bag on ebay .
Things I like about the Wiggys Vest: This lamalite stuff that Wiggys uses is incredible , warmer than down even when wet , and much warmer than other "high tech" insulations. He must have the patent on this stuff because no one else uses it . Wiggys products are not cheap but worth every penny when its cold .
What I don't like about the Wiggys Vest: Nothing .
Vest quality: Top of the line !
Vest summary: Its hard to understand why Wiggys products are not more advertised or in major catalogs because this is the best cold weather gear I've ever used by far . The vest is much thinner than 750 goose down but just as warm ... even when wet !
