NAP Quick Tune 2000 Archery Equipment
Archery Equipment Manufacturer: NAP NAP Model: Quick Tune 2000 Review Category: Archery Equipment
Purchase: I got it from a buddy.
Things I like about the NAP Quick Tune 2000: Ease of tuning. No shooting through paper. YES
What I don't like about the NAP Quick Tune 2000: I've had problems with the cable slide chattering on the bar as I drew. I've cleaned, repositioned, and adjusted the slide and bar. I ended up putting wax on the bar and it stopped, but I don't think that's right but I was in a pinch out in the field.
Other big problem is the rubber arrow guide that goes on your riser. My broadhead blades will hit it at full draw and I know my shots will be off. I was at full draw at a buck when I noticed this and had to switch arrows.
I also couldn't set it up as NAP describes in the packaging. To have the rest clear the fletchings after it dropped I had to flip the prongs over so they face down instead of up. Then I got fletching clearance.
Quick Tune 2000 quality: no problems here
Quick Tune 2000 summary: Can't decide if I will keep it on there or not. Ease of tuning is good but more things that could go wrong in the field has me thinking.
