Purchase: Other I picked this up at a new place that just moved into our area called Dick's Sporting Goods. I wasn't sure what to think when I heard a Dick's store was going up. I decided to buy a blind since their the big thing right now and I'm getting a little old for the tree stand thing. Last year I was up in the stand thinking I have way to much going for me to be up here one step away from death.
Things I like about the Wigwam Hunting Blind Other: It was neat, it rained here hard on Saturday, but I was able to stay dry in the blind. It's a lot like hunting from a tent with big windows.
What I don't like about the Wigwam Hunting Blind: We had heavy winds here Saturday and they were having their way with it at times. It would also make some noise when the wind blew hard. The camo pattern didn't match my woods well and I would have to think it would have really stood out to any deer that wandered past. An old guy once told me that deer know the woods as well as you know your Living Room if there's something new there they'll find it.
Other Hunting Blind quality: For still days, not bad. I'm not to sure what the wind and cold will do to it. Once I have her out on a real rough day I'll drop you a note.
Hunting Blind summary: It was really different. It was nice being able to take a quick stroll if I wanted without having to climb out of some old tree. I don't know what the deer will think though. Like I said I'll be back in a month or two to give the final decision.
