Things I like about the Aqua-view Z series Rain Gear: The unit is a portable unit that is easy to carry around for ice fishing.
What I don't like about the Aqua-view Z series: The screen is very hard to see in the daylight. On the unit I purchased the monitor gave out after 2 years of use. A new monitor is $200.00. This would bring the total price of the unit to $700.00. The unit in my opinion is way overpriced for the quality that is put into it. An outdoor product in this price-range should last a minimum of 10 years before you should have to start replacing any component.
Rain Gear Z series quality: The unit is supposed to be a sealed unit, but there is gaps in the case seal.
Z series summary: I'm going to have to replace either the whole unit or the monitor. I'm not sure that if I replace the monitor I won't be having the same problem in another couple of years.If I replace the whole unit it won't be from the aqua-view line
