Things I like about the Cass Creek-Game calls Deer-The Real Thing Calls Lures Scents: This is a well designed unit that is made of camo-plastic. The unit has rubber type grips on both side. I dropped it from 15 feet and it is still functional.
What I don't like about the Cass Creek-Game calls Deer-The Real Thing: The unit has a dial type on/off knob. I would personally prefer a larger knob or a slide type volumn control. My hands are of average size but I was forced to remove my gloves during cold weather to operate this call.
Calls Lures Scents Deer-The Real Thing quality: The rubber type sides are a real plus during the Michigan deer hunting season. We begin our deer season in October and it ends on December 31. I thought the call was water tight but it was not. During the rainy season I allowed this call to stay in my tree stand. The rain got into the unit. I was able to disassemble the unit and used a hair dryer to dry the call out and then replaced the batteries. Good to go!

I called in two buck during the rut and shot both with my bow. I did not play the call very loud and timed my playing to every fifteen minutes. Too loud or too often scares smaller bucks away.
