Purchase: Rifle Scopes I purchased this scope on-line at Shooters Oasis. I paid $375.00 shipped. I bought the scope on the recommendation of a friend who had one and was very happy with it.
Things I like about the Sightron 4X16X42AO Mildot Rifle Scopes: This scope has very clear and crisp optics. When adjusting windage or elevation the internal mechanism tracks the reticle perfectly and returns to zero every time. The scope's fit, finish and function are flawless. The mildot reticle provides additional hold over aiming points and can also be used as a range finding device. Sightron has a warranty that is second to none, if there is something wrong with the scope, they replace it with a new one.
What I don't like about the Sightron 4X16X42AO Mildot : The windage and elevation knobs adjust in 1/8" increments as opposed to 1/4" for most other scopes.
Rifle Scopes 4X16X42AO Mildot quality: This scope has very rugged construction. The finish is flawless. The optical lenses are clear and the image is bright and crisp. The reticle is clear and provides a distinct aiming point. All moving parts function perfectly.
4X16X42AO Mildot summary: I have been very happy with the overall performance of this scope and will definitely purchase another.
