Purchase: Black Powder I saw it on shelf looking for gift for son at local gun shop had tagged $279 salesman explained all about the gun what do to clean shoot and maintain for best performance.It had nickel barrow camo stock and i liked the way it looked.
Things I like about the cva optiva Black Powder: The way it looked and felt the way it was easy to clean the price was not as cheap as some of the others but i still liked it the best.
What I don't like about the cva optiva: nothing it should be a great muzzleloader.
Black Powder optiva quality: Seams to be constructed well the fact that it was already taped for scope mount is another plus.
optiva summary: I hope that the gun gives my son the satsifaction i think it will. It shoot get and it was easy to clean.
