Fishing Gear -Great Gadgets from RhinoŽ

Fishing Gear - Product Spotlight

Every angler can always use another gadget and they'll have a number of new worthy items to choose from in the 2004 Rhino * accessory line-up. Built tough to live up to the standards set by the Rhino name, these good-looking and functional tools are must-have additions to your fishing tackle arsenal.

The new Rhino fishing pliers are spring-loaded and feature an ergonomic molded grip. Constructed from 302 stainless steel, the pliers have a Rhino tough oxide finish to ensure they will not rust. Pliers' features include a line/wire cutter and a splitshot/sleeve crimper. They are available in two styles, straight nosed and curved, and both come in 6" and 8.5" lengths. Rhino fishing pliers retail for around $8.99.

Also joining the Rhino fishing tool family is a pair of 5.5" stainless steel hemostats. Hemostats are ideal for removing deep hooks. They retail for about $6.99.

When it comes to cleaning the catch for dinner fare, Rhino makes the job easy with two new fishing filet knives. Featuring 402-grade stainless steel construction, these new double honed blades yield a razor sharp cutting edge and Rhino tough durability.

Their ergonomic co-molded, double-hilt handles safeguard users' hands. And their hard-case plastic sheath keeps the blade covered when not in use. The Rhino fishing filet knives are available in 6" and 9" models and retail for around $6.99. They are also available as part of a complete filet set, housed in a custom case. The set includes both the 6" and 9" knives, plus a 5 1/2" boning knife and 9" shaipening tool. The case features a slide-out cutting board. The Rhino filet knife set retails for around $24.99.

When going after the monsters, protect your hands with Rhino's new full and half- finger fishing gloves. These gloves offer a no-slip textured palm and breathable neoprene construction. A must have on any vessel, Rhino fishing gloves retail for $7.99.

So how will you haul all this new fishing gear? In one of the new Rhino Fishing Tackle Bags, of course. Three models of tackle bags are available, varying by size, and all are built Rhino-tough. Featuring no-rip nylon, reinforced seams and a reinforced ribbed polymer base, these fishing tackle systems are built to last. Each comes with four 3600-sized utility boxes and an adjustable padded shoulder strap.

The smallest size has 6 pockets (4 zippered and 2 nylon mesh), a full access main pouch with a 270° opening, and external bungee attachments. It sells for about $29.99. The mid-size Rhino fishing bag features 8 pockets (6 zippered and 2 nylon mesh), a top loading main pouch, an extra large utility/apparel pouch, and 2 VelcroŽ locking accessory holsters. It retails for about $39.99.

The largest Rhino fishing bag has all the features of the mid-size, but is equipped with 9 pockets (7 zippered and 2 nylon mesh). Additional features include a bungee strapped beverage holster, a clip-on sunglass case, a built in insulated hot/cold compartment-perfect for chilling a cold beverage or for keeping hand-warmers warm when not in use. It retails for around $49.99.

A nice addition for any Rhino fishing bag is the Rhino worm wrap, made especially for storing soft plastics. The worm wrap has 2 snap-ring binder clips and a reinforced rubber-grip handle. It comes equipped with 10 heavy-duty zip seal bags. The Rhino worm wrap retails for about $7.99.
