Production Begins on All-New Yamaha Rhino 660 4x4

Press Release

Since its debut at the Yamaha dealer meeting in June, anticipation for the arrival of the all-new, class-defining Rhino 660 4x4 side-by-side (SxS) vehicle has reached a fever pitch. For dealers and customers alike, the call to go into the wild is about to be answered, as production of the Rhino 660 is currently underway at the Yamaha manufacturing facility in Newnan, GA.

Even before arriving in dealerships, the new Rhino 660 has been the subject of various magazine and newspaper articles. Editors lucky enough to have driven the new machine are quick to sing its praises, and agree that it is the most capable, and comfortable, SxS vehicle on the market.

The Rhino 660 4x4 accommodates two full-size adults in padded bucket seats, as well as cargo in a steel-reinforced, gas-assist tilting dump bed. Power for the new SxS class leader is provided by the same proven dual range engine found in the top-of-the-line Yamaha Grizzly 660 ATV. An independent front and rear suspension and 12.1” of ground clearance provide the plushest of rides, while the patented Yamaha Ultramatic® transmission and On Command® push-button system allow the driver to switch between 2WD, 4x4 and 4x4 with differential lock at the push of a button. Automotive style controls – steering wheel, gas and brake pedals – further add to the versatility, not to mention the fun factor, of the Rhino 660.

The new Yamaha Rhino 660 is going places no side-by-side vehicle has gone before. To see the new SxS class-leader firsthand, visit your local Yamaha Dealer.
