THE NEW BUCK/WHITTAKER SUMMIT: THE PINNACLE OF MOUNTAIN KNIVES

Press Release

Melding form and function, the new Summit is the latest collaboration between renowned mountaineer Peter Whittaker and Buck Knives designers. Filling a need for a knife rugged enough for climbing with essential tools lightweight enough for backpacking and hiking, the new Summit will help you get to your destination, and help you open that bottle of wine to celebrate your achievement.

The Summit includes many essential tools for outdoor activities without any of the fluff: A full-sized partially serrated Buck blade with ambidextrous one handed opening, and closing, a locking bottle/can opener and screwdriver, as well as the all-important corkscrew.

In their third year of collaborating, the Buck/Whittaker team has taken knife design to new level. Designed and tested by Whittaker and his top guides, the ultimate end-users, the Summit is burly enough to get you to any destination without adding unnecessary weight.
