Burris Optics Black Diamond Titanium

Release

Optical Excellence-Burris Titanium riflescopes started with the revered optical system of the Black Diamond series. The optical glass is ultra-pure, ground and polished to exacting dimensions and consistency. Each lens surface is multi-chemical multicoated for maximum light transmission. The large 50mm clear objective transmits more light than your eye can use, complemented by the oversize 30mm internal lenses to assure transmission of all that light back to your eye. The resulting resolution, brightness, and clarity are astounding.

Tough The photo above showing the raw strength of Black Diamond Titanium scopes illustrates that there is more going on here than some marketing gimmick. Other scopes simply snap in two. We hope you'll never need this kind of strength, but if you do, Murphy will likely pick an inopportune time and a remote location. You might think of Burris Titanium as your trophy insurance.

Beyond the whole scope tube and eyepiece being made of solid titanium, each scope is coated with aluminum titanium nitride. This nitride is molecularly bonded to the titanium through high intensity physical vapor deposition for maximum adhesion that will not blister, flake, or chip. The result is an ultra-hard corrosion proof surface.

The World's First and Only Scratch-Proof Lenses We call them T-Plated™ Lenses on the Burris Titanium scope. These lenses do not come with the warning of other "scratch-resistant" coatings about removing all dust before cleaning. T-plated lenses do not require a "soft clean lens cloth." Ordinary dirt, dust, and grit won't bother them a bit.

Not only is T-Plate durable, but it is ultra-smooth also, which facilitates water beading and sheeting. Although it is not magical, it does make for a better sight picture when snow or rain insists on decorating your lenses.

Monster Magnum Medicine Burris Titanium scopes would surely find their way onto super ultra magnum rifles, so we put plenty of eye relief in them of at least 3 1/2 - 4 inches. In fact, the 2.5X-10X has an astonishing 4.25" - 4.75" of eye relief.
