2007 Bows - Alpine Silverado Hunting Bows

Bow Hunting Gear - 2007

In this several part series Hunting & Fishing Gear Review takes a look at the new 2007 bows on the market. This year’s group of bows continues to build off previous years use of technology to offer smoother and more accurate bows. Once you read about the new 2007 bows you’ll realize that many manufacturers of bows are once again embracing speed as one of the key factors in bows.

2007 Bows – Alpine Silverado Hunting Bows

Alpine Silverado hunting bows are based on Alpine’s modular riser design bows. Alpine was the innovator of bows with the multipart riser concept that many manufacturers of bows still use today.

Alpine’s Silverado Bows are fitted from head to toe with vibration dampeners which prove to be very effective. Each of the risers on these bows is assembled using heat treated dowel pins that offer precision alignment while adding additional strength to the bows.

Velocitec Cam For Alpine Silverado Bows The Velocitec Cams on the Alpine Silverado is the soul of these bows. This hybrid has dual payout groves which serves to stabilize the cam lean on these bows and keeps both cams synchronized throughout the entire draw cycle. The hybrid cam on these bows drastically reduces timing issues which traditionally had been a black mark against bows with two cams. The Velocitec cams are designed so both buss cables stretch from the take up groove on one cam to the payout grove on the other cam which results in both cams staying in synch with one another.

Alpine Silverado Bows Inter-Loc Limb Mounting System

In order to achieve maximum accuracy and noise control from bows you must control the shooting sequence. The Interloc Limb Mounting System on Silverado Bows encases the bows limbs in a nylon liner which keeps them from contacting the bow’s riser. The vibration absorbing liners on these bows are fit right into the limb pocket which allows zero movement.

Alpine Silverado hunting bows are sure to be a player in the 2007 hunting bows market. The Velocitec cams on these bows store tremendous energy combined with their parallel limb design and without the recoil of many of today’s high performance hunting bows making it a serious contender in 2007’s new hunting bows.
