Broadheads Recalled - Rage recently announced a recall of their 3 Blade broadheads. The broadheads in question were shipped between March 6th and May 31st of this year. The reason Rage is recalling these broadheads is it was discovered the broadheads do not always fully deploy. According to makers of the Rage 3 Blade Broadheads the frequency of the broadheads not fully deploying is very low, however Rage is taking the right steps by recalling all of these broadheads.
According to Rage "they are taking these steps to maintain the highest possible quality standards for all of their customers". It's important to note that Rage didn't have to recall these broadheads and that the recall of the broadheads isn't a safety recall. Rage is recalling these broadheads due to not meeting their high performance standards.

In the image of the broadheads above you will notice the broadhead on the left has a pointed shoulder which is correct. The broadhead on the right has a rounded shoulder which is a defect effecting the performance of the broadheads. If you are unsure about your set of broadheads please send the broadheads back to this address and broadheads will be sent out to you immediately.
