It comes standard with Hoyt’s new AlphaShox Vibration Dampening System that has been designed specifically for Hoyt’s ¾ Inch Split Limb bows. It’s the most powerful and innovative dampening device to ever hit a Hoyt hunting bow. The VTEC features Hoyt’s new Advanced TEC Riser Design that is extremely strong and rigid virtually eliminating any excess riser vibration.
The VTEC is powered by Hoyt’s revolutionary Cam & ½ Performance System that has been proven to be the most accurate cam system in the world. Of the 19 major national tournaments held in 2004, the Cam & ½ was used to shoot 14 of the 19 highest scores. Not only is it extremely accurate, it’s fast, smooth and exceptionally forgiving.
The VTEC is built with Hoyt’s patented ¾ Inch Split Limbs. This innovative limb design has been recognized time and time again as the most durable limb design on the market. The design utilizes Uniform Stress Distribution (USD), which eliminates the traditional “hot spots” found on most solid limbs. The ¾ Inch Split Limb Design also eliminates the vulnerable v-groove and limb bolt groove where failure most often occurs on solid limbs. The limbs are connected to the VTEC riser with Hoyt’s exclusive Dual Locking Pocket and Triax Pocket Stabilization System. It’s the tightest tolerance and most durable pocket system in the industry.
