Leupold VX-III Riflescopes

Cabela's

Cabela's- When you see the Golden Ring on a riflescope, you can count on it being the absolute pinnacle of ruggedness, waterproof integrity and fail-safe accuracy, shot after shot. It means an outstanding level of performance is guaranteed for the life of the scope - all Golden Ring optics are covered by the Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee. Finally, it indicates you can have pride in owning an American-made scope. The Leupold Golden Ring is a label of proven quality you can depend on for your most rigorous hunts and all your precision shooting sessions.

VX-III - How did Leupold raise the bar across the industry for superior low-light performance? It enhanced all VX-III lenses with an index-matched coating to achieve maximum brightness, clarity and contrast. But the engineers didn't stop striving for excellence after implementing superior light management. VX-III scopes have a wide field of view, lockable fast-focus eyepieces with non-critical eye-relief, and are ruggedly built for long-term reliability.

The precisely machined housing and components are accurately fit for extreme structural integrity. Each scope is charged with nitrogen and sealed to remain completely waterproof in everything from a light drizzle to a complete dunking to freezing-to-warm transitions.

The dedication to excellence in both optics and construction makes the VX-III perfect for everything from close-in encounters with big game to long-range competitive target shooting, which is why there are three different finishes - Gloss, Matte and Silver - and so many reticle options. 1/4-MOA windage and elevation adjustments. LR (Long Range) Scopes feature a 30mm tube and side focus parallax adjustment so you can easily focus from any shooting position.

Varmint Hunter Reticle - Five fine aiming points let you dial in your load at close range, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards. (for cartridges similar to the .22-250). And there are references for 10-mph and 20-mph wind deflection. Prairie dogs can be ranged by bracketing them between the horizontal bar at the top of the picket and the 500-yard aiming point. Two different power settings instantly readjust the reticle for accuracy with your second load of choice.

Boone & Crockett Reticle - Has a steady taper down to each fine 100-yard-increment aiming point. For cartridges similar in performance to the .270, the first two aiming points represent 300 and 400 yards. The next mark down indicates 450 yards and the top of the picket is your 500 yard aiming point. System can be calibrated for longer-range cartridges. 10-mph wind-drift reference. Two power settings instantly readjust reticle for a different load.
