Fishing lures - Blakemore Lures Roadrunner - What is so different about the Road Runner?

Fishing Lures - Roadrunner

Fishing Lures - Mainly, it is the spinner blade that is attached to the bottom side of the lure. I have been asked a number of times at the Sports Shows why we put the spinner on the under side? Because when you cast the lure into the water, the fish are on the under side of the lure. Fish will see the flash of the spinner before they see anything else. The spinner blade is much more visible on the underneath side than on the top side of the lure.

Another feature of the ROAD RUNNER is the fact that the lure can be cast and let sink to the bottom with the line seldom getting entangled with the hook. Many fish hit the lure on the downward fall. It can be slowly retrieved, as the blade will spin even at the slowest of retrieves, hence a slower speed.

Why do so many different types of Fishermen buy the Road Runner?

It is a very versatile lure with its different weights and colors. It can be fished so many different ways and yet it catches fish every way you fish it The standard fisherman will always have the Road Runner ready to cast. However, Dad may want to troll until the fish are located. His son may just jig one over the side. Any way you want to fish the Road Runner with its unique blade action, it is always working for you.

Remember —You Can't Fish a Road Runner Wrong, As Long As You Fish it Slow.
